A strange and wonderful variety of animals have found a home at the Bally Vaughan animal sanctuary, from civets to marmosets and lions to zorse.  At Bally Vaughan, we care for injured, orphaned, abused and unwanted animals from around the country.  Since 1992, we’ve rescued countless unfortunate animals: some of them return to the wild, and some find a permanent home with us.  Come and spend the day visiting our animal friends: they’ll be happy to see you!

We’re open every day except Monday, from 9am to 5pm, with predator feedings at 4pm.  Admission costs $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. There’s no need to book in advance.  You’ll find us along the Shamva road at the 21 km peg.
